How To Find Loads of Easy Profitable Keywords

How To Find Easy Profitable Keywords

Have you ever wanted to start a new website but couldn’t come up with an interesting, unique niche? Or you have a great idea but can’t find any low-competition keywords even if your life depends on it? Keyword research is one of the most important parts of starting a website, it’s a part that determines how much you’re going to have to work later on to rank. You don’t want to get that wrong but at the same time, you’re eager to get started.

Today I’ll show you how you can:

  1. Come up with an interesting and profitable niche
  2. Find loads of easy keywords that will make you money
  3. Accomplish all that with minimal hassle in less than 30 minutes

It’s the same process I used to find a gem of a keyword. One that’s:

  1. 100,000 monthly searches
  2. Low-competition
  3. Buying intent keyword

So, let’s get started…

Step #1 – Finding a niche

It’s much easier than it sounds.

Especially if you have our niche keyword list. It’s a list of over 1.3million keywords, organized in 28 categorised such as “Health”, “Business”, “Travel” and then sub-categorized in 1846 unique “authority” niches.

Woah, loads of numbers right?

More simply, it’s a list of all niches known to man. It’s a must have resource for any SEO, affiliate marketer or PPC specialist.

But you might be thinking “I don’t need a gazilion niches, I just need 1”. Well I show you how you can pull 1, 2, 5 or however many you like niches out of your ass, complete with enough profitable keywords that will make your writer’s head spin.

First, let’s take a random category. And what I will show you here is literrally me opening the list and picking something at random. I genuinely spent 30 seconds doing the following sequence. You can repeat this process with any of the other gazilion niches and spit out enough keywords for an authority website in no time.

So…category…how about Travel? We can monetize it with TripAdvisor. Perfect.

Niche Keyword List Categories

Then let’s pick a niche inside there. How about Adventure Travel? I’ve been thinking about going somewhere lately.

Travel Macro Niches

Ok so we found a niche within 10 seconds. Not bad.

Now let’s move on to the next step.

Step #2 - Picking 5 Categories

So we now know our website is going to be about adventure travel. But that's still a pretty large authority niche. There's nothing wrong with going that wide but we can narrow it down even further and still find loads of keywords to write about.

Adventure Travel Keywords

Oh look, keywords about "africa tours". Let's make a website about that!

This keyword group caught my eye and not because it's an awesome niche mind you (although it's not bad), it's because I couldn't be bothered to scroll down.

So let's look at that group and pick 5 that seem like good core keywords. After really thinking hard for solid 30 seconds, I've settled with the following:

  • africa tours
  • african safaris
  • africa honeymoon
  • africa hunts
  • africa resorts

Now we have 5 solid categories for our website about africa travel. Perfect.

We can now take these keywords and turn them into actual profitable keywords.

Step #3 - Finding Profitable Keywords

Meet Keysearch. A wonderful tool built by the same guys that made FCS Networker that makes keyword research a breeze. It gives you loads of keyword suggestions based on many different sources. But most importantly, it analyzes the top 10 results for each keyword to give you a score which makes finding easy to rank keywords a no-brainer.

It's rediculously easy to find easy keywords when you combine it with NicheKeywordList.

Here's how:

1. Expand Main Keyword

Keysearch Find Suggestions

2. Filter Out Unworthy Keywords

Keysearch Filter

  • Volume - Self explanatory. We only want keywords that people are actually searching for. You can bump this out to 1000 if you don't want to target anything below that but you will be missing out on a lot of easy to rank long-tail keywords that way
  • CPC - This is important because it shows you only keywords that other people are making money on. For example "latest movies" has 301,000 searches a month but a CPC of only 0.15 meaning all that traffic is basically worthless.
  • Number of words - We only want long-tail keywords here that are easy to rank

3. Remove All Non-Easy Keywords

Everything with a score above 40 is going to take some effort to rank so just remove them as well. If you want only the really easy keywords, you keep lower the cutoff point to 30 or 35 but that's going to remove quite a bit of solid keywords.

Note: Keysearch sometimes doesn't calculate the difficulty score for all keywords automatically. Make sure that you click the "Calculate" button for all those keywords or you will filter them out.

Keysearch Easy Keywords

4. Save & Repeat For All Main Keywords

Repeat step 1 - 3 for all main keywords you pulled out from NicheKeywordList.

If you don't find enough keywords, you can either:

  1. Find more main keywords in NicheKeywordList
  2. Take any of the keywords you found in Keysearch and repeat the process

How To Scale This Up

Here's the best thing about this method! Are you ready for it?

It requires minimal brainpower. It's really that easy.

Why is this especially good? It's good because you can teach just about any VA to do this for you in 5 minutes. Hell, just point him to this tutorial and you're good.

Here's what you do:

  1. Find a VA on UpWork / Freelancer
  2. Give him access to Keysearch
  3. Send him a bunch of keywords in your niche
  4. Tell him to spend 15 minutes each day doing this process
  5. After he's done, tell him to send you a report with all keywords

So for barely any monthly cost, you now have a stream of easy keywords each day delivered directly to your inbox! It's the cheapest way of outsourcing keyword research you can think of.

What To Do Next?

Congratulations! You should now have a list of 40 or so keywords you can take out a build a website around.

As you can see, this is a really fast process you can repeat with any other niche and end up with a bag full of keywords to build a new niche website or to add some content ideas to your existing website.
